Shooting/Death


Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Fort Wayne Police Department solve a shooting that resulted in the death of Diquan Meriwether. On January 14, 2020 the victim was supposed to meet a friend somewhere on Abbott Street. A witness heard gunshots and saw the victim collapse outside her car. Medics took the victim to a hospital where he was pronounced dead by a physician. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867
